The Bloodhound Club Spring Trials were held in the last week of February,
in country North of Holybourne, Hampshire.
This was the last trials under Jo Franks, since she has retired as the Working Trials Secretary.
Jo has served in this role for eighteen years, for which we are tremendously grateful.
Martin Page has agreed to take on the mantle for the Autumn trials in Kent.

The Championship Trials for 2007

Sadly the Autumn trials had to be cancelled because of the threat of Foot and Mouth Disease.
Meanwhile multi-breed Clean Boot trials were held in Belgium, judged by Tim Foulger, and the Netherlands Bloodhound Club held their trials in October with judges from England; Mrs Sue Wheeler and Mrs Jo Franks.
Organiser of the trials, Jan
on the final day, flanked on his right by
Intemediate and Senior Judge Jo Franks,
and on his left Claudette who handled their
hound to win Junior and Intermediate Stakes.

The Bloodhound Club Autumn Trials were to be held in the first week of October, near Canterbury in Kent.
However, after the Schedules had been posted to the usual competitors, the outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease
in Surrey scuffered plans, and these trials had to be cancelled.
Fortunately the Kelperland Trophy Stake, was able to go ahead,
with the hounds that qualified at the Spring trials.
This was judged by Peter Brown, on 25th November, at St. Leonards, Buckinghamshire.
The Kelperland Trophy 2007 was won by
Robertson's Trailfinder Endearing by Floralis, ( handled by Alan Taylor).
